Scholarship Description

Since 2017, the Featherstone Foundation has provided numerous scholarships to students from different countries who now attend many different institutions. In 2016, The Featherstone Foundation created the Featherstone College Scholarship Program at The University of Baltimore to promote higher education and to empower the next generation of student leaders. Applicants should have at least a 3.0 GPA.

Scholarship Details

  • Awards scholarships to students at Coppin State University, The University of Baltimore, and other institutions.
  • Supports underrepresented communities, including international students, immigrants, racial minorities, and first-generation college students.
  • Aims to achieve academic equity in higher education for students facing economic challenges.

Application Process

  1. Complete the Featherstone Foundation scholarship application form.
  2. Submit academic transcripts and proof of economic need.
  3. Provide a personal statement outlining your background, challenges, and educational aspirations.

The Featherstone Foundation has provided over $326,000 through 131 Feathersotne Scholarships to students from 29 countries who speak over 44 languages and now attend 12 institutions. Since its inception, the Foundation has awarded 56 awards totaling nearly $130,000 to students from The University of Baltimore alone.
