Scholarship Description

To be eligible for the Vermont Federal Credit Union Educational Scholarships, applicants must: be a member of Vermont Federal Credit Union; and be accepted to or enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program at a college, trade school, or university (minimum 12-credit semester or full-time equivalent). Studies must begin in the upcoming Fall or the following Spring. Applicants can either be graduating high school seniors, already be enrolled in a college/trade school, or have been out of high school for more than one year. Immediate family members of Vermont Federal employees and Board members are not eligible.

Vermont Federal Credit Union has been awarding scholarships to deserving students for nearly 20 years. Recipients are selected by a volunteer Scholarship Committee and are chosen based on academic achievement, leadership activities, service to the community, and responses to an essay question. In addition to completing the application, applicants must also submit a transcript and a copy of the letter of acceptance from the college, trade school or university.
