The Governor's Scholarship Program

The objective of the GSFC Governor's Scholarship is to recognize and financially assist graduating Georgia high school seniors of exceptional merit who choose to attend a public or private college or university in Georgia by providing an academic scholarship.

The Watson-Brown Foundation Scholarship

The primary mission of the Watson-Brown Foundation is to provide college scholarships to area students based on merit and need. This internal scholarship program is entirely managed by the staff of the Foundation. Scholarship awards are decided by the Board of Trustees during its regular second quarter meeting. The Foundation awards individual annual scholarships of $3,000 and $5,000. More than 350 are awarded every year.

The Georgia Executive Women’s Network Leader of Tomorrow Scholarship

The purpose of the GEWN Scholarship Fund is to assist in the college education of one or more Georgia female Leaders of Tomorrow. GEWN will award up to four $3000.00 scholarships this year to female, non-traditional, full-time students who are attending or planning to attend a metropolitan Atlanta accredited college or university in a four-year undergraduate program of study. Non-traditional is defined as a student who is at least 24 years old.

Georgia’s HOPE Scholarship, HOPE Grant & HOPE GED Grant

The Georgia’s HOPE Scholarship includes tuition, mandatory fees, and a $100 per semester book allowance. The scholarship can be used for four years at a Georgia state college/university and an award of $3500 per year is also available to students who choose to attend a private college in Georgia. To qualify, students must be Georgia residents who have maintained a 3.0 GPA at an approved high school high school. Students may also qualify based on ACT/SAT scores. Also available are the HOPE Grant and HOPE GED Grant.
