The Gary E. Milgard Scholarship
The Gary E. Milgard Scholarship gives area high school students the opportunity
to receive a scholarship to use at the college of their choice. Entrants are required
to play a CD-Rom game which takes them through the building process, volunteer 12
hours with Habitat for Humanity, and write a 500 word essay on a building industry
related topic.

Northwest Osteopathic Medical Foundation Scholarship
The Northwest Osteopathic Medical Foundation’s Scholarship Program was created to
help defray the cost of osteopathic medical school for students committed to practicing
medicine in the Northwest. Scholarships are awarded annually, based on academic
performance, to students from Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington.

"Beat the Odds" Scholarships
Each fall, Stand for Children awards three $2,500 renewable scholarships to college-bound
Oregon public high school seniors who have "Beaten the Odds" by succeeding in school
despite daunting obstacles. Application materials and instructions are available
now at http://www.standleadershipcenter.org. The deadline to apply is September
17th. Scholarships will be awarded for the following (academic) year.
