Outstanding Freshman Student Award

The outstanding Freshman Student Award is open to first-time freshmen applying for programs within the department:

Horticulture, Agronomy, Fruit Industries, Soil Science and Agricultural Biology.

• This scholarship is awarded to freshman with the highest GPA for 24 or more units at the end of the winter quarter of the freshman year.

• Evidence of participation in extra-curricular activities of the department must also be
demonstrated.
