T.E.A.C.H. Early Childhood(r) MINNESOTA

T.E.A.C.H. Early Childhood® MINNESOTA  is a scholarship program intended to provide opportunities for early childhood and school-age care professionals interested in increasing their levels of education, compensation and commitment to the field.
These scholarships are for early childhood or school-age professionals who have worked for at least six months in a licensed or regulated child care program in Minnesota and are:

• Working at least 15 hours per week directly with children for a minimum of 720 hours per year.
• Accepted into an approved Minnesota college and moving toward a degree in child development or early childhood education, or those pursuing a National Child Development Associate Credential (CDA).

The T.E.A.C.H Scholarship pays 80% of tuition and books, not to exceed scholarship limit, provides a travel stipend each term,reinburses a portion of release time,and awards a bonus when contract has been completed.

T.E.A.C.H. scholarship staff provide ongoing counseling and administrative support for the program.
