ANS Incoming Freshman Scholarship

ANS Incoming Freshman Scholarships are awarded to graduating high-school seniors who have enrolled, full-time, in college courses and are pursuing a degree in nuclear engineering or have the intent to purse a degree in nuclear engineering. ANS will give a maximum of four Incoming Freshman Scholarships annually. Each award is $1000.

The Scholarships will be awarded based on an applicant's high school academic achievement, freshman college courses enrolled in, quality and content of 500-word essay, letters of recommendation by counselors and/or teachers, and other information.

To apply for the ANS Incoming Freshman Scholarship, download and complete the special application form. Return it with appropriate documents to ANS headquarters by April 1. Recipients will be notified by April 30. The scholarship award will be sent in September to the recipient upon verification (a copy of the paid fee receipt) of enrollment in an accredited university or college.
