AREMA Committee 18, 24 and 33 Scholarship

The American Railway Engineering and Maintenance of Way Association (AREMA) Educational Foundation is pleased to announce the availability of undergraduate scholarships for engineering students who have a potential interest in railway engineering careers. These scholarships are funded by Committee 18 – Light Density & Short Line Railways, Committee 24 – Education & Training and Committee 33 – Electric Energy Utilization.

Amount of Award:
Scholarships are in the amount of $1,000 each and will apply to the coming academic year.

Eligibility:
Applicants must be enrolled as full-time students in a four- or five-year program leading to a bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering technology in a curriculum which has been accredited by the Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology, (or comparable accreditation in Canada and Mexico). The applicant must have completed at least one quarter or semester in college prior to submitting an application, and have at least a 2.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
