FMA Foundation Nuts, Bolts and Thingamajigs Trade/Technical School Scholarships
Since 1990, the Fabricators & Manufacturers Association Foundation has awarded scholarships annually to students in courses of study that may lead to careers in manufacturing. The scholarships are an exclusive member benefit of FMA and its technology affiliate, the Tube & Pipe Association, International (TPA). Because manufacturing engineers, management, and skilled tradespeople are such an important part of the work force, the FMA Foundation's board of directors seeks to encourage talented students to pursue careers in manufacturing fields.
To apply, you must be:
- A full-time student with a minimum GPA of 2.5, enrolled in a manufacturing-related course of study, or a trade/technical program at a trade school or two-year institution, that may lead to a career in manufacturing
- A a member of FMA or TPA, the child of a member, the employee of a member company or
the child of a member company's employee
*Membership must have begun by January 1st of the award year. (To verify your membership status, please call FMA and TPA customer service at 815-399-8775.) To apply, you must submit a completed application form and requested transcripts by the application deadline.
