Linda Cowden Memorial Scholarship
The Linda Cowden Memorial Scholarship is a yearly scholarship for continuing education of D/deaf or Hard of Hearing students or hearing students who are preparing to work in a profession serving the D/deaf community. D/deaf or Hard of Hearing students will be given priority.
To be eligible for this award, applicant must be a D/deaf/HoH person who has been accepted into a program to continue his or her education past the high school level, academically, or vocationally - OR - a hearing person who has been accepted into a program leading to a profession serving the D/deaf/hoh community. Applicants must live in one of the 16 counties of Tennessee that Hearing Bridges serves (Cheatham, Davidson, Dekalb, Dickson, Houston, Maury, Macon, Montgomery, Robertson, Rutherford, Smith, Stewart, Sumner, Trousdale, Williamson, and Wilson). Staff or Board members of Hearing Bridges and their relatives may not apply.
