Dr. Alma Adams Scholarship

As an expression of gratitude to Dr. Alma S. Adams for giving six years of dedicated service and leadership on its Board of Directors, the American Legacy Foundation has established a scholarship fund in her honor. The Dr. Alma S. Adams Scholarship for Outreach and Health Communications to reduce tobacco use among Priority Populations will award a total of $10,000 annually for up to two candidates to pursue undergraduate or graduate studies at an accredited institution of higher education in the United States. The scholarship will be a fitting tribute to a gifted artist and dedicated public servant who has contributed greatly to the ground-breaking capacity-building work of the foundation on behalf of Priority Populations.
