Cal Grant C Award Program
There is no application fee for the Cal Grant C Award Program.
Application Deadline: Postmarked by March 2 annually.
Residency: U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen, Permanent resident and current California resident.
Award may be used for: Undergradutate study
Award may be used at: California postsecondary institution
Designated institutions: Cal Grant qualifying California postsecondary schools
Applicant must demonstrate: Financial need.
Other application requirements: Applicants must submit FAFSA to federal processor and Cal Grant GPA Verification Form. Qualifying students will be sent a Cal C Supplement form to complete and return to the California Student Aid Commission.

Awards are given to all eligible applicants
Applicants must have income and assets below established levels
Minimum 3.0 GPA for Cal Grant A; minimum 2.0 GPA for Cal Grant B
Funding is available for up to two years, and your vocational program must be at least four months in length
Students with no available GPA can submit SAT, ACT or GED scores. All test scores must be submitted using the paper Cal Grant GPA Verification form
