UCR Alumni Association Freshman Scholarship Program

The Alumni Association awards merit-based scholarships to incoming University of California, Riverside freshmen each year. During the academic year, 12 incoming freshmen to UCR will each be awarded a $4,000 scholarship. Requirements for the scholarship include:

*Incoming freshman from a California high school.

*SAT score of at least 1250 (minimum math score of 520, and a verbal score of 580)

*Minimum high school GPA of 3.65

*California Residents

*Interview by an alumni regional committee

Interested applicants should submit a one page essay as described by January 25th. UCR is a special, diverse campus that offers a unique educational experience. Describe what opportunities you believe are available at UCR that will help you achieve your personal and educational goals and what attributes you have to contribute to campus life at UCR.
