TELACU David C. Lizarraga Fellowship

Each year, the TELACU Education Foundation awards hundreds of scholarships to students in California, Texas, Illinois and New York.

Minimum eligibility requirements: Must be a low income, first-generation college student, a full-time student for the entire academic year of the award, and attend one of TELACU's 36 partnering colleges and universities.

For applicants in California: Be a permanent resident of unincorporated East Los Angeles, Bell Gardens, Commerce, Huntington Park, City of Los Angeles, Montebello, Monterey Park, Pico Rivera, Pomona & The Inland Empire, Santa Ana, South Gate or other communities selected by the LINC TELACU Education Foundation for inclusion in the Scholarship Program.

A select pool of applicants will be invited to interview, and will be ranked according to their ability to demonstrate a combination of the following: outstanding leadership potential, remarkable record of professional/extracurricular activities, commitment to the development and economic empowerment of their communities, and a need for financial support to complete their graduate program.
