The J.L. Weigand, Jr. Notre Dame Legal Education Trust

The J.L. Weigand, Jr. Notre Dame Legal Education Trust has been established to provide assistance to students from the State of Kansas. The scholarships provide full tuition, fees and books and a generous room and board allowance for selected students who have been legal residents of Kansas for at least 10 years.

The scholarships will be awarded without regard to race, religion, gender or age to selected full-time students attending the University of Notre Dame Law School, University of Kansas School of Law or Washburn University School of Law.

Scholarships may be continued for each year of school with respect to those students who maintain standing in the top 10 percent of their class, or otherwise meet satisfactory academic standards in the judgment of the Trustees.
