South Dakota Retailers Association Jerry Wheeler Scholarship Program

The South Dakota Retailers Association provides scholarships to students who are studying for a career in retailing. Individuals must have graduated from a South Dakota High School, or be enrolled in retail-related course of study at a vocational technical school, college or university in South Dakota to be eligible.

To be eligible for consideration, applicants must plan to enrolled full-time in a business or retail-related course of study at a vocational school, college, or university in the fall of the year of the award, and must desire a career in business or retailing. Students who will graduate from high school in the spring, along with those already enrolled in colleges, universities and vocational schools, are eligible. Students planning to attend vocational schools, colleges or universities outside of South Dakota are eligible if they graduated from a South Dakota high school.

Application must also include two references and an essay (see our website for this year's topic).
