NYCDA Scholarships

The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts' School of Film and Television typically awards more than $800,000 in scholarships per school year. NYCDA Scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis, and may reflect artistic promise and demonstrated financial need.

The Sanford Meisner Merit Award is based upon talent demonstrated at the audition. The award will be renewed if the student is invited to return for the second year and maintains a minimum 3.0 GPA.

The Mary Doyle Memorial Scholarship is based upon financial need and talent demonstrated at the audition. The award ranges from a minimum of $500 to a maximum of $10,000 for the academic year.

To apply, a student must fill out a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and must reapply for the following academic year. Selection based on financial need, talent, and a minimum 3.0 GPA.
