Human Capital Scholarship

The Human Capital Scholarship provides educational opportunities for first-generation college students from any underrepresented ethnic groups. Two scholarships of $1,500 will be awarded to incoming freshman attending the University of California in the fall.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Incoming freshman enrolled full-time during the upcoming school year
- Minimum GPA: 2.7
- First generation in the family to attend college
- Attending any University of California campus
- Major: preference given to liberal arts
- Financial need
- Ethnic heritage: African American, Asian American, Latino American or other heritage from an underrepresented group
