The Los Angeles chapter of the Hispanic Public Relations Association (HPRA-LA) is proud to present our annual Scholarship Program to help deserving Hispanic/Latinx students in Southern California achieve their educational goals. The HPRA-LA Scholarship recognizes outstanding academic achievement and community service among Hispanic/Latinx undergraduate and graduate students who are pursuing a career in public relations and related communications fields.
In addition to financial assistance, scholarship recipients will be introduced to executives at leading agencies and corporate organizations who are a part of the HPRA network, and receive a free, one-year student membership to HPRA-LA. Eligibility: be an undergraduate or graduate student with at least one parent or grandparent of Hispanic/Latino heritage; have at least a 3.0 GPA; and be enrolled at a two- or four-year accredited college or university for the coming academic year. Students can be enrolled full-time or part-time. This is open to students of all majors who demonstrate an interest in a career in public relations and communications. Applicants must be studying in specific Southern California counties.
