Honoring Mia Howard, our fund awards scholarships to community-driven students, fostering service and academic excellence. Mia's father, Denny Howard, started this scholarship to carry her legacy on and continue to spread her generous nature in their extended community. Two scholarships worth $500 - $2,500 will be awarded to graduating Seniors in the downriver community.
Eligibiliity
- Must have at least a 2.5 GPA
- Must possess a passion for community giving and academics
- Must submit an essay describing your passion for giving and why you should be chosen for this scholarship
- Must be enrolled in a community college, trade school or university for upcoming fall semester.
Through this scholarship, Mia's legacy continues to shine bright, inspiring others to make a positive difference in the world, just as she did.
